At Croley’s Premier Martial Arts in Asheville we teach a WACIMA (Worldwide Association for Chinese Internal Martial Arts) certified curriculum of authentic Tai Chi, Hsing Yi, Baqua, and Qi Gong with the guidance of Grand Master Guo Ming “George” Xu. WACIMA is a organization based in Shanghai, China and is a group of 12 masters who have spent their lives building the skills of authentic Internal Power Arts. And we would like to share them with you. Classes are taught by Derek Croley, who has lived and trained in China and studied Internal Martial Arts and Internal Power for over 25 years.
This is a very traditional and authentic Chinese Internal Martial Art and Internal Art class, and is only for those who are serious about learning the secrets of BODY SPONSORSHIP, “CHI GOES THROUGH”, PURE INTERNAL POWER, EMPTY FORCE, and MIND ENERGY.

When I started taking Tai Chi classes a year ago at Croley’s Premier Martial Arts Center my motivation was to reduce my back pain. I had to rest horizontally for at least 30 minutes before class, then could barely make it through 45 minutes with considerable pain. I also had neck and shoulder pain and was frequently asking my husband for shoulder massages. Now I am taking up to three hour to hour and a half classes in a day in more than one discipline. I haven’t needed a shoulder massage in months and my back pain has decreased as my range of activities has increased. Knowing I might be able to defend myself in a hostile situation is secondary for me, but I like that also.
