Internal Martial Arts are unique. We have sayings like

“The weak defeats the strong.”

“The balance of Yin and Yang will defeat any imbalance.”

“Empty and agile will defeat solid and firm.”

“He who has no technique will defeat he who has technique. To see the emptiness creates the technique, like the tiger that chases the rabbit. The tiger doesn’t have a chasing technique but all the techniques are melted inside of the tiger. When the tiger attacks it “sees” the technique in that moment. This defeats the mind limited on technique, on jin (physical strength), on qi (internal power), on yi (mind), or to be focused on something.” George Xu

Internal Martial Arts use relaxed core body agility combined with a highly refined sense of balance to acheive what is called “effortless power.” Balance means that we seek harmony and equilibrium within ourselves mentally, physically, and spiritually.  True effortless power is the power to deal with the events of your life in a harmonious fashion.

Very rarely are we attacked physically, but we are attacked by the events of our lives many times every day.   Internal Martial Arts are an excellent way to find the harmony within yourself to deal with what ever life throws at you and come out on top.
